Gilda

I just finished carving and painting "Gilda", my newest design, who is using her broom handle to stir a pot of evil brew.  Gilda, the pot and broom are all carved from a one piece rough-out.  Gilda is 12" tall even though she is a little stooped over.  She will make a fun addition to anyone's Halloween collection.

Rough-outs will be available on my website http://www.dalegreenwoodcarving.com/ in about 10 days.  As with all my rough-outs, Gilda will come with four sided views, a close up of her face and complete painting instructions.

I had a lot of fun working on this old gal from the initial sculpting in clay to carving and painting.  You can create your own colors to create different looks.  For example, I plan to use a brown mixture for the cloak and perhaps a little red/orange for the hair on the next one.
